Ridgeback started in Cape Town in 2018 with a simple complaint: clothes weren't made to last any more. Jackets frayed by the end of winter. Seams gave up before the owner did.
So we make fewer things, and make them properly. Heavy cotton canvas. Metal buttons. Seams sewn twice. Clothes cut for the drive out of town on a Friday and the meeting in town on Monday, without making you choose.
None of it is complicated. It just takes more cloth, more care and more time than most are willing to give. We think the people who wear it are worth that.

Orders are taken over WhatsApp and paid by card or Yoco. Choose the item, colour and size, send us the message, and we'll confirm stock, price and delivery within the day.
Domestic orders arrive within 3–5 working days, and shipping is free on orders over R1 000. We deliver within South Africa only.
